hay algo en mí que jamás olvida ni perdona,
y duele
y llora.
Quise volver a encontrarme a mí mismo

una respuesta tangible y definitiva.
Y sólo quedaron palabras suicidas
que se ahogan en la garganta
de pura cobardía:
estigmas subcutáneos,
vestigios de una derrota.

out of pure cowardice:
subcutaneous stigmas,
vestiges of a defeat.
